About the Author

Maria Tarashmanova is a popular travel writer with over 37,000 followers on Instagram and over 18,000 on TikTok.

Maria is a wanderer at heart. She began traveling and sharing her experiences on social media with the goal of helping her followers save time and explore more of Bulgaria’s incredible corners.

In 2022, in search of like-minded people to travel with, she began organizing group trips to off-the-beaten-path destinations around the country, and in 2023, she launched her own online map of Bulgaria featuring her favorite spots and complete travel itineraries.
